Manager, Provider Support & Development

 

Our team is looking for two full-time staff to support two capacity building programs for providers who work with children and families in Miami-Dade County, both funded by The Children’s Trust. UM Team COACH provides training, coaching, and support to parenting program providers. Project SEW is an initiative which supports the social and emotional wellness of direct service providers. 

 

In this role, you will:

  • Establish, grow, and maintain relationships with stakeholders and community agencies in Miami-Dade

  • Provide coaching and technical assistance to providers

  • Facilitate conversations related to diversity, equity, and inclusion

  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops, and focus groups

  • Manage project tasks and deliverables

  • Document and follow-up on key action items

  • Analyze and synthesize qualitative and focus group data 

  • Prepare materials for meetings, workshops, and focus groups

  • Support presentations, stakeholder reports, and publications

 

You have experience:


 

  • Working directly with community providers in a coaching capacity

  • Facilitating meetings, workgroups, and discussions, particularly as it relates to diversity and equity

  • Understanding the needs of communities and sharing their stories with stakeholders

  • Managing project deliverables

  • Monitoring progress toward project goals

 

Your qualifications:


 

  • Bachelor’s plus 5 years of experience; Master’s plus 2 years of experience

  • Knowledge of local communities and neighborhoods in Miami-Dade

  • Knowledge of The Children’s Trust ecosystem a plus

  • Spanish-speaking or Creole-speaking a plus 

  • Educational background in education, mental health, psychology, social work, public health preferred

 

What success looks like: 


 

  • At 1 month, demonstrate an understanding of the initiative mission goals, and activities; learn project management tools; participate in workgroups

  • At 3 months, provide coaching to parenting program providers and coordinate community listening sessions, workgroups, and trainings

  • At 6 months, lead community listening sessions and community trainings; lead project management activities
